EAA Young Eagle Discovery Flights
Taste the freedom of flight. This is an easy way to take the first step in learning to
fly. The EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) promotes their "Young Eagles"
program for kids 8-18  years old. Absolutely FREE!

I have had an abiding interest in Matters Aviation for many years. I am a
Private Pilot (with advanced ratings). One of my goals is to provide a
means for those ready to take a "First Step" (which is often the most
difficult one) into the realm of flying. Through the graces of the EAA
Young Eagles program, I able to do so on scheduled events sponsored by
the local EAA Chapter or periodically on a case-by-case flight.
By the way, you do not have to be a "young" Eagle to
